A Sophie the Giraffe quilt to make baby as comfortable as possible with plenty of activities to enjoy!
1 - A large lined quilt with a double layer of padding, soft materials, and a comfortable cushion to support baby's head.
2 - For optimum comfort, the cushion is made of sponge and is easily removable (velcro® fastenings).
3 - As an added safety feature, the back of the quilt has a non-slip surface.
4 - The quilt can be transformed into a bag so that it can follow baby everywhere.

5 - Crinkle leaves.
6 - Sophie the Giraffe with a funny squeaker hidden in her tummy.
7 - A large foliage-shaped area for baby to touch and feel with his hands and feet to make a lovely "scrunchy paper" sound.
8 - A hedgehog with a little bell to shake.
9 - A variety of fabrics (cotton, velvet, satin, etc.) and textures (smooth, soft, rough, etc.) to explore, to vary the sense of touch.
10 - A bee with a melody to activate. The bee and hedgehog are fastened onto the quilt with velcro® and so are detachable.

About Sophie The Giraffe
The little giraffe was born on 25th May in year 1961...Saint Sophie's day!.
In those days, the only animal toys available were farm animals or pet figures...
That is why one day in France, a certain Monsieur Rampeau, who was an expert in transforming sap from the hevea tree using the rotational moulding of rubber as a toy-making concept, came up with the idea of designing a giraffe. Such an exotic wildlife figure would be a first on the market, and its size and shape would be ideal for a baby's small hands to grasp.
Sophie the Giraffe, who looked exactly the same then as she does today, went into production on a Thursday 25th May, whence her name.
She was an immediate success. Young mothers straightaway saw that she was a must for their children...When the first signs of teething appear, Sophie the Giraffe helps baby stop crying!
From then on in Europe, generation upon generation of children were to love hearing Sophie squeak whenever they pressed her tummy or head!
Vulli, a company based in Rumilly in the Haute-Savoie region of France has continued to keep the jealously guarded secret of how this wonder toy is made.
